The Deerfield Volunteer Fire Department is located in Central New York State just North of the City of Utica in the foothills of the scenic Adirondack Mountains.

DVFD currently has a roster of 64 members led by Fire Chief Richard Douglass. We currently have 8 pieces of fire apparatus operating out of 2 stations. DVFD responds to any request for assistance including emergency medical calls, motor vehicle accidents, wires down, and of course, fires and fire alarms.
